The Dodgers held their first official full-squad workout this Friday. Dodgers manager Joe Torre is impressed with the team’s dedication and confidence “I’ve never had so many regulars show up early in my life.” There were only two players missing, Belisario due to visa issues in Venezuela, and Weaver who was excused for the birth of his first child.

Manny ‘Maniaco’ Ramirez was one of the Dodgers out on the training field doing drills. He has been training all week long. At the squad workout he attracted the most and the loudest group of fans!

Kemp seems to be keeping his cool with all the extra exposure he’s been receiving due to being “just good friends” with Rihanna.

Although there have been several reports that Kemp and Rihanna are a couple, the Dodgers player still claims that they are just friends. “[She's] a very very good friend of mine. And we enjoy hanging out with each other and we’re just having fun.”

In recent interviews, when asked if he was ready to handle all the extra public exposure involved with dating a diva he replied “Hey, it is what it is. If that’s what it comes with, that’s what it comes with. I’m just gonna continue to keep trying to hit home runs and help my team get to the World Series.”

Fighting this Saturday in the main event of UFC 110 is the undefeated Velasquez (7-0) against Nogueira (32-5-1 and one no-contest). The fight will take place in Sydney, Australia.

Velasquez is a two-time NCAA All-American, and often relies on his wrestling to ground opponents so he can hit them with short punches and elbows. While Nogueira’s fighting techniques include Jujitsu.

46 yrs old and Still Kicking Ass…Randy “The Natural” Couture, who is my all time  favorite UFC fighter, will be going against Mark “The Hammer” Coleman this Saturday!! 

Both fighters are older in age; Couture 46 yrs old, and Coleman 45 yrs old. Randy Couture’s professional record is 17-10, with 7 knockout wins and 2 by way of submission. He is known for his defensive head movements, strong wrestling skills, and above all his endurance. Coleman is known for his hammerfists and punches, with a record of 16-9, with 4 knockout wins and 8 by way of submission. His strategy is based on his term “ground and pound.”

These two fighters have history, going back to their college days when they competed in a collegiate wrestling match. Also, the two were supposed to fight in the UFC event back in 1998. This is a long-waited for fight!!
